~Through my experiences, 2 player seems to make the challenge a LITTLE harder, since the camera follows the main player, or 1st player ~Custom characters are 10X cooler than the crappy random characters, make yourself, your friends, your family, your favorite characters from other games/movies, even your own O.C character (as long as it isnt a hedgehog)

Here are a few tips to keep in mind when you play the game If you think you're up for the challenge, then congratulations! You're gonna HATE LOVE this game! If you dont like incredibly hard games, or you dont like the chance of losing everything, then i'd recommend to NOT play this game. Hopefully, the forthcoming beta goes smoothly and Death Road to Canada won’t be too far off, but at the very least expect more news on its progress as Madgarden and Rocketcat pull back the curtain more on its development.You are playing an incredibly hard game, and may take a good 10 hours before actually BEATING the game. No concrete dates have been given for when the game will hit Steam, and subsequently iOS, but the developers have been pretty faithful in updating the Steam community on about a monthly basis on where progress is at. The goal is to get the game finished for release on Steam, and then about a month following that, get it out for iOS, according to Madgarden on Twitter. Going forward, and being that the game is close to entering a larger private beta involving the backers, development progress will be put out for the public to consume, much like this latest video has.

However, on this anniversary of my shattered dreams of playing this game, the developers have posted a brand new look at Death Road to Canada, as well as a promise to be more open with its continued development. Understandable seeing as both Madgarden and Rocketcat have been quite busy with other projects, but disappointing nonetheless. Unfortunately, Death Road to Canada’s intended release window was October of last year, and here we are a year later and still no game. It sounded incredibly awesome, and being that this was the same developer collaboration that brought us Punch Quest, there was every reason to be very excited for Death Road to Canada. In August of last year, Rocketcat Games and Madgarden announced their latest collaboration project called Death Road to Canada, a “Randomized Permadeath Road Trip Simulator." Basically, the goal of the game was to make it from Florida to Canada during a zombie apocalypse, making “choose-your-own-adventure" style choices along the way and interspersed with real-time action sequences where you’d fight off zombies and collect resources.
